Handlebar AI runs a missed-call text-back and booking service for home-service and auto-repair shops in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. These terms explain how our text messaging works and how to opt out.

Program description

When a call to a participating shop goes unanswered, Handlebar sends a text message to the caller on the shop’s behalf to answer questions and help book the job. Related messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, review requests after a job, and occasional “we miss you” follow-ups from the shop.

Consent

By calling or texting a participating shop, or by giving your number to a shop, you agree to receive text messages related to your inquiry and service. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Shops are responsible for obtaining the consents required to message the people they ask Handlebar to contact.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the shop (for example, a reply when you miss a call, a booking confirmation, a reminder, and a review request). You will not be enrolled in unrelated marketing lists through this service.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Handlebar and the shop do not charge you for the text messages themselves.

Opt out — reply STOP

You can cancel messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation and then stop sending texts. To start again, reply START.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network and your device.

Privacy

We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.
